Wow, was I surprised when I first looked into this little filly’s big eyes. Like two warm, deep blue crystals. How this blue eyed cutie got her extraordinary eyes is a mystery, because she certainly didn’t get them from her dam or sire. I believe there may be a little magic in this special little girl!
She comes to us from Echo at Smart Color Stable. With her beautiful and sought after seal brown coat and her elegant conformation she’s a real eye catching young lady already. Being horse enthusiasts, the Diamond family of Appaloosa plains where searching looking for a special new addition and when Fatima came along they knew they’d found the perfect fit. Fatima is a friendly little filly who playfully greets everybody and will follow you anywhere. Being away, competing at Equus Halter Competition, Nash hasn’t had much time to bond with her yet, but their initial meeting went extremely well. Having only just grown up the young stallion was eager to have a new friend to play with while his human friend is away at school.
Note: I know blue eyes in Arabians aren’t really a sought after characteristic amongst breeders, but I think it makes her extra special :) I will however take this into account in the future. Should I put one of her blue eyed foals up for sale I will ask potential buyers whether they prefer the foal to have the sire’s eye colour instead.
